Inspiration. Where you find it is entirely personal. Its a beautiful thing, and it turns up in the most unlikely places. muddy Promotions is in the business if inspiration. We want to empower and support people. They can be artisits in all guises, musicians of all styles and sizes, or just individuals who want something worthwhile to do.

We have been inspired to...open a music and arts community centre called the Glass Onion.

The Glass Onion is organically grown by local people. Our Butterfly Bar is the public space of Muddy Promotions and the Glass Onion. We would like to see it create beautiful creatures from the caterpillars of our ideas. Not only to we aim to sell organic, local and fair-trade goods because we support and share their principals; but we also hope that many will enjoy the artworks displaed in this space. the pieces are all by young, local artisits who ordinarily would not have the opportunity to display their work. We have had two hugely successful pre-opening weekends which involved an interactive comedy play, acoustic perforances and snacks and drinks on sale.
As well as the front of house, we are also developing:

The Blue Room, which is a soundproofed practice room with drum kit available for musicians to hire.
Art Room
Music recording facilities (drip-dry records)
Digital Media Suite
Dark Room
Wood and Metal Workshops

With funding we would like to adopt many exciting projects, including childcare, horticulture and inspire people to utilise our space for anything from capoeira to cookery!
